I’ve said it once, and I’ll say it a thousand times more; I’m not a hardcore horror fan, not by a longshot, but I loved the P.T. demo, enough so that I actually found myself yearning to play the full game, Silent Hills, when it eventually released in a few years time. Sadly, the game has been cancelled, and P.T. is no longer available – it was removed from the Playstation store yesterday as a matter of fact. Did you miss it? Don’t worry, you can drop some cash, lots of it, to buy one of the dozens of neat new P.T. bundles that have popped up all over eBay if you did.
What a tough choice. Do I pay the cheaper price and get the rarer, white PS4, or do I cough up four times as much to get the standard console, but with more games? Screw that, I think I’ll go for the R118 550.72 console because expensive equals better, right? Don’t question my logic, this is how shopping works!
In all seriousness, this sort of thing just makes me shake my head. It’s literally Flappy Bird all over again. Take away something from people and they want it even more, so much so that they’ll gladly pay too much money to get it.
As fantastic as the P.T demo is, I would never recommend buying it. Ever. It was free for so many months! If you missed out and desperately want to be scared by that F&^%# terrifying Lisa, best you find a friend who has the demo installed – I just hope they’re not one of the sellers pawning off their Playstation 4 for millions, or an idiot who payed millions of monies for the demo in the first place.
