Random Halo 3: ODST Gameplay

Obviously the best way to see if you like a game is to simply give it a go however that isn’t always possible and as such you need to rely on what other people are saying about it and those all important review scores.

However another simple way to see if you like a game is to simply watch someone else playing it normally and after watching the random gameplay video after the break I am pretty sure that I am going to like this game.

I am glad to see that the ability of ripping turrets of their stands and wrecking havoc with them has remained.

    Not a fan then

How much of a change does it require before something becomes a stand alone title compared to an expansion pack?

ODST features different characters, different physics and a different environment. Same aliens… mostly and mostly similar weapons

So what does it require to be a proper game, or is all sequels just glorified expansion pack.

Take gt5 for example, half of the cars is the same models as gt : prologue. Is this then not just an expansion as well.

At what stage is it not a expansion any more.

ODST uses the engine , and some of the enviroment etc.

So is left 4 dead2 a proper game or a expansion.

And is gta DLC not just an expansion – or could it be a game on it’s own because it add a whole new story ?

I thoroughly enjoyed Halo3. I never thought I would, but the game is a whole lot of fun! I’ll definitely get ODST.
Does anyone know if Halo and Halo2 are available for xbox 360?

Ant the glorified expansion pack is expected to sell
about 2 million copies at launch in America.

More than 90% of games sell lifetime.

Vgchartz got a nice new feature to try and track pre-orders.

And ODST already have 1.2 M pre-orders for america,

But the real surprise is MW2 which have more pre-orders
than halo odst and is still weeks away.

You can also play the retail copies with the bc download.

So get yourself a old copy of halo and halo2 – would be a lot cheaper.

Thanks for the offer janrik. I’m busy doing some back story research on Halo. I can’t believe I almost missed playing this.
