Our minds just aren’t challenged lately. We’re too content to take things at face value, devouring misinformation and passing it off as the truth, a cycle repeated daily. Time to change that, and what better way, than with some incentives to flex the ol’ grey matter?
The Fact Foundry is doing just that, with it’s very first Riddle Challenge. The idea? Simple, as all you have to do is solve some riddles, and you’ll be eligible to win some prizes from Evopoints, ranging from iTunes vouchers through to some Xbox 360 currency.
But it’s not just about winning prizes, as the idea is to get people thinking, about their world, their environment and their history. Riddles will be based on “big” issues, from politics throuugh to technology, and will require some research, or a black belt in Google Fu.
Answer enough riddles, and you’ll hit a checkpoint, which will then enter you in a draw for a prize. Giving the Riddle Challenge some social network love, will also make you eligible for a reward, if you share your participation in the event through Twitter or Facebook.
The first challenge closes on August 5, with winners announced the day after. So get cracking, and give your brain the 20 push-ups of riddle-based exercise that it needs! Sir Stephen Fry would approve of this!
