Siena flags removed from GT5… possible delay avoided

You hear that? It’s the sound of thousands of GT5 fans breathing a sigh of relief.

It has been announced overnight that Sony will immediately remove all the Siena flags and any reference to the Piazza al Campo or Feast Contrade.

Sony has confirmed this is due to the cultural relevance of the festival which has made the Consortium for the Protection of Palio very happy indeed and now everyone can be friends again.

So no delay and no legal action which could have resulted in the game being impounded at launch. All’s well that ends well.
