Skate 2 – Online Features

2009’s gaming line-up kicks off with the new and improved sequel to Black Box and EA’s Skate, aptly titled Skate 2.

The video from gametrailers.com shows off some of the new online features that are going to be integrated into the game in order to seamless blend the single and multiplayer game modes in a very similar way to Burnout Paradise, complete with mini challenges and all.

The good news is that Burnout Paradises multiplayer interface was actually pretty incredible and worked really well, so it should add a whole lot of fun onto the game for those of you who are able to play on PSN or Xbox Live.

Skate 2 should hit local shelves on the 23rd of January and if you didn’t try the first one, I recommend that you give this one a go. The demo will be released this Thursday (8th) so give it a go and see what all the fuss is about.
