Skate it on the DS So ever since the Wii Fit was announced people have been debating if other manufacturers are going to be using it in their games.

Somewhere someone mentioned that the next Rayman Rabbids will have Wii Balance Board support but they have been knocked out of first place by EA Games.

EA announced today the arrival of the Skate franchise on the Nintendo Wii and DS, while that is news enough in itself what really makes this stand out is that if you buy Skate It for the Nintendo Wii you will be able to plant your feet on the Balance Board and really immerse yourself into the experience.

I can’t think of a much better use for the board right now to be honest. I used to love skating and that feeling of control in your body when you have it just right is something that shouldn’t be missed.

I really hope this turns out well.. Skate was absolutely fantastic so my expectations are high, don’t let me down EA…

I can’t see this working too well, i mean how the hell are you going to do an inward 360 kickflip on the balance board?

  • Actually Namco Bandai are one step ahead of EA as they’ve already released We Ski in the US which has balance board support but it is more of a family game. There’s also talk of a Nintendo 1080° Snowboarding sequel which will be great.
