Surprise! The Last Guardian has been delayed to December

1 min read

Here’s something nobody saw coming, at all! The Last Guardian, the game that was originally supposed to be a PS3 game but saw a swathe of delays has once again been delayed. Scheduled for release towards the end of October, the game’s been delayed by a month a bit – and will now be coming in December Maybe. Who knows anymore.

In a blog post, Sony confirmed the latest delay.

“The Last Guardian development team is fast approaching major milestones in production and has made the tough decision to delay the release of The Last Guardian a few weeks. The Last Guardian will launch on December 6, 2016.

Fumito Ueda (gen Design) and Japan Studio have a wonderful vision for The Last Guardian’s touching, emotional journey of friendship and trust, and we want to deliver the most polished experience possible for our fans who have supported us for so long. A delay is a difficult decision, particularly with this game, but we have encountered more bugs than anticipated while in the final stages of development. To ensure that The Last Guardian delivers on the experience that the game’s creators have envisioned, we need to take the extra time to work on those issues.

Our development continues to push itself to the fullest and we look forward to revealing new content toward launch.”

There’s nothing much that needs to be said, really.

Stay Strong, Umar.

I know another game that was delayed by a couple months. It released this year. People loved that game. At least, they did until it was released.

Its totally for reals coming out in December everybody . Its not like it has been delayed half a dozen times , restarted or delayed again another half a dozen times .

Yes it was, in fact delayed and restarted more than that.

      Development started in 2007

I think its purley a business move, it would have released alongside a few heavy hitters including BF1 and that would have been suicide.
