Telltale’s Great Adventure Bundle 2010 is just that – Great!

The team behind recent episodic adventure games like Tales of Monkey Island and Sam & Max have released their Adventure Bundle for 2010. If you head on over to Telltale’s website you can score yourself roughly R900 worth of games ($120) for just R150 (or $19.95). The bundle includes The Whispered World, The King’s Quest Collection (which has the first six games in it), the first episode of Penny Arcade: On the Rain-Slick Precipice of Darkness, Jack Keane, Sam & Max Season 2 and Puzzle Agent.

The last two titles in the list unlock once the bundle has sold a certain amount, but at the time of writing, Puzzle Agent has already been unlocked; Sam & Max should follow shortly as soon as 5000 bundles have sold.

To make things even better, you get to choose one out of five charities to donate 25% of the fee to. Charities include the World Wildlife Fund, Child’s Play, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Electronic Frontier Foundation or Nyota e.V. Alternatively, if you can’t choose one of these charities over the other, then Telltale will split the 25% equally amongst all of them.

So far the bundle has raised $9431.10 in donations for the charities. This is gaming for a good cause and the best bit is that the price is excellent. Head on over to the official website and get your credit card ready – I know I am going to.
