The new Jurassic Park title from the beloved Telltale’s Games’ studios has now been pushed back to the United States’ fall release period.

Fans who have been waiting in anticipation will at this point be sharing Jeff Goldblum’s sentiments from the first movie when he uttered the words “must… go faster“.

The PC and Mac platforms were scheduled for release in April, but it looks like Telltale think it best that they now release at the same time as their console counterparts.

According to Telltale’s CEO Dan Connors:

“The game’s mechanics and storytelling have come together in such a way that we see great potential, so much so that we feel we can push these elements to the next level if we spend some extra time working on them,”

So, it’s not that they want to have them release at the same time, it’s that they think that by taking the extra time, they can improve on it even more, and if that is truly the case, then I’m definitely all for it.

The folks at Telltale are also so nice that they are giving full refunds for pre-orders and also announced that anyone who did buy in advance can take their pick of any other Telltale game and grab for free.

Now that’s how you handle your fans.
