TGS 2010 – Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Announced

1 min read

Namco-Bandai aren’t only shoehorning Capcom’s characters in to their engine to bring you a Tekken Street fighter crossover; no, they’re hard at work on another brand new Tekken – and this time it’s a sequel to what’s possibly the most fun game in the series to date; Tekken Tag.

The first game was a smash hit on arcades, and became an incredibly successful PS2 launch title as well, all the way back in 2000. Not much in the way of details, but we do know that the alliteration punctuated Tekken Tag Tournament Two will be hitting Japanese Arcades next year, with the inevitable console ports to follow sometime later.

Editor. I'm old, grumpy and more than just a little cynical. One day, I found myself in possession of a NES, and a copy of Super Mario Bros 3. It was that game that made me realise that games were more than just toys to idly while away time - they were capable of being masterpieces. I'm here now, looking for more of those masterpieces.
