Batman has had a ton of different armours over the years. Suits that use miniature red suns to rearrange Superman’s pretty face. Suits that can survive deep space. Outfits designed to inflict maximum fright and pain in the hearts of criminals, who are a cowardly lot when confronted with a gigantic meat tank made up of rage and psychological issues. But Batman ain’t never had a suit like this before.
Described by Sideshow as “a mechanized suit of armor with the strength of an iron fortress”, the heavy armour Batman comes with enough costume gear to spell overkill several times over. It’s absolutely ludicrous, and even the cape looks over-designed. Naturally, I love it. Actual measurements for the figure clock in at 11″ H (279.4mm) x 10″ W (254mm) x 7″ L (177.8mm), which is pretty much in line with several other figures from the Play Arts series.
Anyway, enough waffling. Pictures!
The Dark Knight returns to terrorise your shelves, next year March. He’ll cost ya $99.99.
