The good, the bad and the ugly of the last week – 23 May 2014

2 min read

Welcome to the good, the bad and the ugly of the last week that was April 21…HOW LONG HAVE I BEEN IN A COMA FOR YOU GUYS?

Best Story

There’s a reason why CD Projekt Red has earned the trust and respect of gamers. And it’s because at heart, they realise that the gaming community wants to be treated with a little bit of dignity, instead of being eyed as walking meat-sacks filled with disposable cash to spend on nonsense digital purchases.

But committing to treat gamers like human beings, and making that statement an oath? That’s why we loves ya CDPR. That’s why we loves ya.

Worst Story

Well, it was bound to happen. With the Oculus Rift dominating headlines for quite a while now, it was only a matter of time before someone sued that VR company for…something.

Best ION Header

We get a lot of local ladies featured on the site, but rarely are they as pretty as Jenna over here.

Most Comments

People have had quite a bit to say so far about the Far Cry 4 cover art, about it being supposedly racist, homophobic and discriminating towards people who dress in non-pink suits. Most of those comments have been rather stupid. No really, come on, this crap is getting out of hand now.

Least Comments

Hey, it’s not me for once! Zoe gets least comments, sadness and a pink slip this week for notching up barely any responses for her DGL sponsorship story.

Batman Of The Week

From last week Friday, all the way through to Thursday, I was leading. Nay, I was dominating like a killstreak in Unreal Tournament. And then this morning, Geoff edged me out of the running like an elbow on a crowded train ride. Truly, he is my Bane. Which would explain why he wears that damn mask the whole time.

Well Kakakrabby patty! We only have nine more games until this console generation kasplodes! Are you super sand lesbian enough strong to oppose me?

Comment Of The Week

Whether you disagree or not, you have to tip your hat to a comment that is so damn long, it deserves a publishing deal. I won’t reprint here due to the reason that it might make my HTML code explode, but you can read the comment with this link about Xbox One cloud engine secret sauce.
