Over at TheGameReviews.com they have put together a list of 5 PS3 exclusive games that they feel the Xbox 360 fanboys really want…
So if you are in the normal predicament of not being able to own both consoles and you decided on the 360, do these 5 titles make you feel like you made the wrong choice?
5. Final Fantasy XIII
4. Gran Turismo 5
3. Uncharted: Drakes Fortune
2. Resistance 1 & 2
1. Metal Gear Solid 4
For me only Uncharted and Resistance jump out the page at me to be honest… I am interested in MGS4 but Gran Turismo and Final Fantasy hold no interest for me..
They are apparently going to release the opposite article tomorrow but if I was going to make the call I would go with
5. Mass Effect
4. Bioshock (coming to PS3)
3. Halo (it has to be here)
2. Alan Wake
1. Gears of War 1 & 2
So which major title is missing from both lists?

Seriously, for XboX owners you would really want God of War as well. And i’ll bet anything that Little Big Planet will be at the top of a lot of lists. Maybe Killzone2 if it even semi lives up to the hype.
As for me, i would love to get BioShock (which is coming). Halo has never interested me, but Gears of War does look soooo good.

Have to agree with you about God of War. I played it on the PS2 and it was absolutely fantastic.
As for our list, I really don’t understand why Halo is such a big deal. It’s a very standard shooter. If that list is in some kind of order than Bioshock should DEFINITELY be ahead of halo.

Hmm can’t say I’d agree with that list at all. on the PS3 want list I’d just have LBP, maybe God of War.
On the Xbox want list, I’d say Fable 2 should probably feature quite highly, I’d also put Crackdown. Considering the Playstation demographics I’d think they’d want Infinite Undiscovery, Guilty Gears 2 and Tales of Vesperia more than 360 owners want FF13. And there’s also the whole community arcade.

Only games on the 360 im sortof interested in is their jrpgs
Blue Dragon, Eternal Sonata, Lost Odyssey but none of them performed superbly enough to really make you notice them imo.
Maybe if one of the new ones turns out to be really great then there would be a reason to look at a 360.
These lists are so highly dependent on a persons taste etc that its almost pointless… but still interesting none the less

I bought an xbox when it was still at almost R4000. to this day i still dont regret it. Borrowed friends ps3 over weekend. played Ratchet, uncharted. couldnt give a stuff about resistance. and this week im gonna get mgs4. everything else this year i want is either on both platforms or exclusive to xbox. ie : gears of war 2, fable 2, too human (i think is exclusive, could be wrong)

And im sorry but Final fantasy isnt final fantasy anymore. Square enix holds the name but if god of war is made by treyarch that doesnt make it awesome necessarily. All the guys who made final fantasy what it is have left and have formed mistwalker. Now is just me or is mistwalker favouring xbox?? Lost odyssey/blue dragon?

Haze was a brand new unpoven IP, Most of those are not and you know it aswell.

What games do? These game companies change etc. Im pretty sure most of the people from early FF games did not work on the last FF games (XII,X,X-2) and they where still awesome.
Think the original Warcraft,Starcraft or diable people are still with blizzard?
Hellgate london werent that great either if you know what I mean.

they are mostly games of franchises that i liked. Except Killzone (never played the first one) and LBP.

Mistwalker is definitely an xbox shop.
But Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey didn’t create big enough waves (they may have been good games, i don’t know persoanlly, not a J-RPG man), but all bets seem to be that FF13 will be better than those two games.
From the point of view of a PS3 owner waiting for it, IT BETTER BE!

Do some form of research before you type dude, Final Fantasy Titles, unlike MGS, is not created, designed, scripted etc by 1 person.
The amount of control Hideo has over MGS far surpasses that of any single person in a Final Fantasy Title.
And if other directors, producers, character designers and scenario writers that have been working on these titles just as much remain then the answer is YES.
It would still be awesome.
Now if “All the guys who made final fantasy what it is have left” like you Claimed then it would be true but as you can see you kinda LIED… allot of the key players are still there including directors and producers like I mentioned earlier.

Didnt mean to justify, just clarify. which i’ve done now and we both happy. Have you played lost odyssey? To me and everyone that has played it (that i know of and in my job its quite a few), it is the best Jrpg since final fantasy 7 (opinion and not fact 😉 )and dare i say it possibly better. Alot of reviewers didnt like it because it didnt “innovate”
But we didnt want it to innovate, we wanted a game that shared the same brilliance as final fantasy 7 (the industry benchmark in my opinion) and lost odyssey delivered that with a story that will make you cry at least twice. Again an opinion.
Now i’ve admitted to borrowing a ps3 for mgs4, Why dont u borrow/steal a xbox 360 and give it a go? trust me you’ll be surprised.

I play 360 allot at my friends place. Gears, halo, Mass effect etc.
If he buys the game ill play it, and id probably like it if its like FF7.
Maybe it does rock but it needs to make “waves” and be a real GREAT game to get someone to add it to his “Must get a 360 because of…” list and im just not getting that vibe from online info/new/reviews and the general 360 users I encounter.
