Sims 4 launch

The Sims 4 launch trailer has been released into the wild – the game is only about a week away so I guess it makes sense. With so many types of characters and interactions, there’s the potential for a whole lot of hashtags.

Controlled by their emotions, these Sims are promising a whole new kind of crazy experience in The Sims 4:

The Sims 4 is launching on 2 September on PC. Maybe one day the even weirder Mac users out there will be able to create their own batch of hipster Sims, but until then at least the PC gaming crew can get excited. Perhaps they can even get Epic Wood:

Really though, it’s cute to see the characters interact in the launch trailer. Whether they’re #togetherforever or #foreverSP, it’s still nice to see just how realistically bizarre this batch of Sims will be. While some people like to live out “normal” lives with their Sims, I don’t know anyone in real life who doesn’t have crazy interactions with other people. So, by being weirder, I guess these Sims are a whole lot more normal.

What kind of stories are you looking forward to seeing playing out? Darryn has a horrifying plan to recreate the lazygamer crew and see how we all interact. I’m slightly terrified, and incredibly intrigued. I have a feeling he will find a way to make Gavin and Sandy debate sports like they do in real life, prompting Death to come visit the rest of us as we die of boredom. At least Geoff should end up with a fully leveled up cooking skill and Darryn can constantly practice his carpentry… right?
