We’ve seen The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt already. We’ve seen quite a bit of it actually. We already know it’s going to be one of the most visually stunning games ever released, but now CD Projekt Red is just showing off.

They weren’t in the spotlight during any of the major conferences, but that didn’t stop CD Projekt Red from releasing probably the best little bit of gameplay of the show this year. A new six minute teaser was released late yesterday, showing Geralt of Rivia in all his chainmail glory. Some up close shots of him during conversations show just how many little details have been crammed into character models, with the White Wolf looking truly spectacular.

But things truly become marvelous during combat. Geralt’s spells looked underwhelming in The Witcher 2, but that’s not the case this time around. Seeing little sparks fly from his hand as he hurls flames at enemies is gorgeous, topped only by some incredible water physics that bring Geralt’s version of a Force Push to life.

I think you understand what I’m trying to say by now; The Witcher 3 is just getting more and more stunning by the day. The final chapter in CD Projekt Red’s acclaimed trilogy will hit shelves in February next year.
