The Xbox 360's Other Red Ring

56 second read

So have you ever unplugged the video cable from your Xbox 360 and turned it on?

Well if you ever do you will notice that you get 4 red lights on the front of the console. The red ring of doom problem for the Xbox 360 is very well known but what seems to be missing is the fact that the red ring of doom is actually 3 lights and not 4.

You would think when someone phoned into Microsoft support they would check this but it looks like have not been doing so. Reports are coming out of quite a large number of xbox’s at the repair facility are actually perfectly fine and people where just confused.

This has happened so much that Microsoft are thinking about changing the error message to something else to stop this from happening…

Now I can’t wait to get home and see if they have already done this with that last weird patch.

I think the xbox 360 is really a piece of garbage, I mean who fork out R4000 to get hit by the red ring of death. And now WTF! another light.I mean you can only be hit by so many stop lights a day.

XBOX 360 fanbois are really lame losers.

lol well I wouldn’t call it a ‘new’ ring, it’s been there for a while, I can see where the confusion might come in, I’ve scared myself quite a bit with that, I think it’s all my Computer training that was beaten into me… “check that everything is plugged in first”
