These are the unlockable new cards of Hearthstone’s first expansion Curse of Naxxramas

IT’S TIME…TO D-D-D-D-D-D-DUEL! Wait, wrong card game. While I’m about to throw my 3DS through a brick wall thanks to the new Yu-Gi-Oh game having a ridiculously high-level setup now thanks to more overly-complicated cards being released, I might soon find myself back in Hearthstone. The first expansion for that game is out tomorrow, and these are the cards that you’ll be unlocking as you progress through it.

Blizzard has played a teaser card, as they released screenshots of all the new cards on FaceBook. Here’s the full album:

There’s some solid cards here. Voidcaller looks bloody useful in a pinch, while Nerub’ar Weblord will make my life that much easier when it comes to swarming an opponent. And how about that Avenge secret card? Nothing like a little secret action to get back at your opponent with. Meanwhile you’ve got Kel’Thuzad, who might have the most useful feature out of all these new cards, as he can bring back fallen friendlies each and every turn.

It’ll be interesting to see if these new cards can make a decent impact on the Hearthstone meta-game. As easy as Hearthstone is to get into, the strategies and tactics that have been dreamt up by players have been amazing so far. And none of these advanced movesets have felt prohibitive at all.

Now to see if we can get Blizzard to finally make a Sword Of A Thousand Truths card. Curse of Naxxramax is out from today in the US of A, and July 23 for Europe and the rest of the world.
