This GT6 video will help you fall asleep

Granted it’s not particularly late  right now but if you are trying to get an early night and are struggling to fall asleep then we are here to help. I found this Gran Turismo 6 demo video where we get to see the thoroughly uninteresting Nissan Leaf racing around the track.

Seriously this video made by CVG runs for 5 minutes 45 seconds and there is absolutely no way I could make it all the way to the end. Gran Turismo 6 looks to be a killer racing title but, wow this video doesn’t sell it.

Gran Turismo 6 is so stupid that Sony ditched it in favour of Drive Club.

Drive Club looks like the primer coat used on GT6 cars.

Drive club is made to compete with GRID 2, hence it’s an arcade game. So, no thanks.

The cars in GT handle like a minibus taxi….from the 80’s.

They got the audio and engine noise messed up with the Nissan Leaf.

GT6 is so realistic that using the Nissan Leaf will cause your electricity bill to sky rocket.

The only thing I can say is Graphics were really good and car susphension physic seems to add realism as it moves more like in real life. Then again never played Gt5 so could of been there already.

Suspension physics are indeed new. Makes a huge difference in handling, quite a nice addition. Not that you will really note the difference on a Leaf 😀

You should see the suspension physics on the Nissan Duke. That thing handles like a muscle V8.

Shift has been always been more realistic than GT and Forza imo…

But Forza isnt 100% Sim. Forza is a cross between Sim and Arcade style from what i gather. GT is simulation through and through. So comparing Shift and Forza works i think cause Shift is similar to Forza in the sense its a combination of both Sim and Arcade. If im wrong please correct me ^_^

What category people place them in is of no concern to me…People also argue about what form of rock music a particular band is for eg, with varying viewpoints…

What matters to me is the feel…Shift pulls of a realistic feel in terms of the physics and sheer adrenaline of the experience…GT and Forza feel as if the car is floating above the track and not solid enough for me…

Hit a barrier on Shift and you feel it type of thang…But as mentioned, that’s simply my opinion…

I will definitely agree with you that Shifts pull and realistic feel with physics and the feel of velocity of the cars are far better. The effects of being hit by the barriers or the opponents is better indeed.

I’ve tried 2 of them…Not sure what version was the initial one I played but I did have a dabble on Horizon which was pretty much more of the same…Perhaps I should give it more of a chance I reckon…

Forza 4 is very different to the previous 2 and it’s more realistic. Horizon is a bit arcade-ish but it also strikes a good balance between sim and arcade on the open-world.

It’s customary to post “Forza sucks” after an anti-GT6 clickbait article.

Don’t think GT6 has too much soul in it. It’s definately a cash grab, i think gt7 is where we’ll see the soul of gran turismo :”C
