Today’s your last day to get the Humble Indie bundle

1 min read

Right now? You’ve got about 13 hours left to get your hands on the rather incredible Humble Indie Bundle V; a collection of some of the best games independent developers have on offer – for as much or as little as you’d like to pay for them.

By paying just a single dollar, you’ll get links to download Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery, LIMBO, Amnesia:The Dark Descent and Psychonauts. If you pay anything over the current average of  $8.49 you’ll score eight games instead of four; adding Bastion, Lone Survivor, Braid and Super Meat Boy to the pot.

That works out to just a shade over 70 springboks for 8 great games – and each of those games is certainly worth more than a squidgy, basting-flavoured slab of processed meat byproducts on a bun.

All games are DRM-free and cross-platform (Pc, Mac and Linux) ; you can decide to split the payment to charity, the developers or the dudes who organised the bundle – any way you choose.

As of writing, 576,553 gamers have bought the bundle, bringing in over $4,896,233.97. It’s your las chance to add to that.

Do it. Do it now.

Editor. I'm old, grumpy and more than just a little cynical. One day, I found myself in possession of a NES, and a copy of Super Mario Bros 3. It was that game that made me realise that games were more than just toys to idly while away time - they were capable of being masterpieces. I'm here now, looking for more of those masterpieces.
