Two Daylight trailers to make you afraid of the dark

2 min read

You guys know I am easily afraid in games. I love playing horror games, but I don’t always have the stomach (or bladder) for it. I think I’m better than Darryn, though, who still hasn’t made it past the menu screen for ZombiU. Daylight is coming at the end of this month, and it is sure to make you cry for your mommy.

Okay, here are the two trailers:

For those who don’t watch videos, or are afraid, we basically see things from the main character’s perspective. Yes, it’s first person. We watch as she shrieks when things appear from the shadows. It’s cool to see her using different tools to light up the area – sometimes it’s the camera phone’s light, and sometimes it’s even a glow stick. There are weird apparitions, and it even seems that you can use the bible or a cross to defend yourself – so you’re not entirely defenseless, right?

These types of games are absolutely terrifying for me. I already jump at shadows in games, now you can barely see, and things are out to get you. Plus you’re basically defenseless. Sorry, but that’s far too much like real life for me. At least you don’t have to hide in closets and avoid gun shots or something.

Daylight is coming to scare the bejeezus out of your PS4 and PC at the end of the month. Are you looking forward to playing this late at night, or will you stick with games that won’t cause heart attacks?
