In possibly the most obvious announcement made this year, Christophe Balestra from Naughty Dog has confirmed that Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune is just the first episode of a hopefully long franchise.
But enough of that, what he did say that was really interesting was
Drake’s Fortune is only using “30 percent” of the Cell’s power, so the inevitable follow-up should look even better
He does go on to admit that the PS3 is difficult to develop for but says that Sony is doing the best it can to help out the developers and it is only a matter of time before the developers get the hang of it.

So are we getting a rushed game for Xmas seeing Sony has not PS3 heavy hitters? The “matter of time” comment could really mean the PS3 would return its investment in 4-5 years then? Ouch.
