You may already know that Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, possibly one of the year’s most cinematic game releases, has gone gold – meaning it’s ready to package up and ship. Excellent news, because it means we’ll be playing the game on its intended release date, with nary a delay in sight. What you may not know is that the game incudes a few extras – including access to the Starhawk Beta.
Microsoft did it with Crackdown and the Halo Beta, Epic did it with Bulletstorm and the Gears of War 3 Beta – and now it’s Sony’s turn. All retail copies of Uncharted 3 will include a redeemable voucher for access to the beta – which kicks off early next year.
BUT WAIT! There’s more!According to the PlayStation Blog, included on the disc are four behind-the-scenes videos detailing the development and production of the game. Of course, you were all going to buy the game any way, despite its 8-9 hour length, so this sort of stuff is just the cherry on a rather delicious cake.
PlayStation 3 Exclusive Uncharted 3 hits retail in the US on November 1, with a local release on November 2.
