Hey Cape Town, I know you’re used to seeing all kinds of horror. You’ve dealt with the terror of people questioning your precious flat mountain. You know how frightening it can be for baristas to use full cream milk instead of skim milk in your ultra-skinny latte del grande. Hell, you’re wary of walking the streets at night because those hipsters looks so ironically dangerous. But we’ve got something even more frightening for you…the chance to win one of 85 sets of double movie tickets to the hottest horror flick of the year.
Want a fun night out on the house then? Entry is easy. Head to this site, drop your details and voila! You’re in line for a free screening of Annabelle awaits you! Thanks to Warner Bros, it’s not just free tickets that are going to be available. There’ll be spot prizes as well as free popcorns and drinks. Free movie food guys. FREE. GRATIS! Tickets are limited, so get your entries in.
In case you’re unsure of what this Annabelle film is, here’s a refresher:
John Form has found the perfect gift for his expectant wife, Mia – a beautiful, rare vintage doll in a pure white wedding dress. But Mia’s delight with Annabelle doesn’t last long.
On one horrific night, their home is invaded by members of a satanic cult, who violently attack the couple. Spilled blood and terror are not all they leave behind. The cultists have conjured an entity so malevolent that nothing they did will compare to the sinister conduit to the damned that is now… Annabelle.
So a night out, chillin’ and thrillin’ on the house? Sounds good to me!

James Wan has to be one of my favourite directors at the moment. He can make horror movies that make you crap your pants even if it’s in full daylight or the lights are on in the movie. Insidious and The Conjuring is a must see for anyone who loves horror.

Are you kidding? Some of the best stuff are on after 10:00 especially on e-tv. At least, from what I remember the last time I watched midnight e-tv about 5 years ago. They had this awesome show where you could win money by calling a special number, and I used to amuse myself at how much of a ripoff it was. They were very clever though, they had these stupid easy questions that anyone could answer, and yet nobody phoned in to claim the prizes. Of course, that is what they would have you believe. In reality thousands were calling in and paying to stay on the line, but only about 10 calls would be answered in an hour. Once they managed to systematically and thoroughly piss off 99.9% off their e-tv viewers, the show went off the air XD
A brilliant scam when you think about it
