In the wee hours of the morning tomorrow, here in South Africa at least, the fifth annual Game Awards will kick off. It’ll dish out awards to the year’s best games – as well as give us a look at some of the best games we might be playing next year, or in the years to follow. The whole thing is being streamed live from the Microsoft Theatre in Los Angeles, California. some of the games you’ll be able to see include the new Far Cry, a look at the future of Fortnite and very probably a Crash Team Racing remaster. Other rumoured games that’ll be making an appearance include Alien: Blackout, Borderlands 3, Metroid Prime Trilogy for Switch, Square’s Avengers Project, the new Rocksteady game and possibly even Dragon Age 4.

It’s exciting stuff and we’ll be up bright and early to cover everything. Or at least those of us under 35 will. Here’s everything you need to know: When to watch it, where to watch it, and the games that are up for award.
