Deus Ex: Mankind – though it uses words it maybe shouldn’t in its marketing – looks incredible. Taking the best bits from Human Revolution and refining them, it looks like we’ll be getting another worthy game in a series with a great legacy. While I miss Denton, I’m more than happy to see a little more of Adam Jensen. And now? You can see the entire 25 minute presentation that lucky folks at E3 got to see.
Of course, there may be (actually, there ARE!) a spoiler or two, so if you want to play the game with virgin eyes when it’s eventually out, you may want to give it a skip. Of course, if you’re like me, you’ll have forgotten the minor spoiler by then, so it should be ok. Check it out:
“The year is 2029, and mechanically augmented humans have now been deemed outcasts, living a life of complete and total segregation from the rest of society.
Now an experienced covert operative, Adam Jensen is forced to operate in a world that has grown to despise his kind. Armed with a new arsenal of state-of-the-art weapons and augmentations, he must choose the right approach, along with who to trust, in order to unravel a vast worldwide conspiracy.”
It looks amazing. I loved Human Revolution, so I’m on for more gravelly-voiced cyberpunk RPG adventures.

I think they need to give him new glasses. Those have the baywatch/Hasslehoff shape.

David Hasslehoff walks into a bar.
He tells the Barman “Only call me Hoff.”
The Barman goes: “OK. No hassle.”

But come on! It would be awesome if Pamela Anderson is the romantic interest in this game, don’t you think? She got all the “augmentations” too, if you catch my drift?
