Watch XCOM’s designer try sell the game

Jake Solomon is the XCOM ultra-fan who served as the lead designer for the remake of Enemy Unknown. the game’s out next week – and we’re positively brimming with excitement for the return of the turn-based strategy title that fuelled our youth. It seems console gamers in the land of Halo and Call of Duty aren’t quite so keen. Watch Jake rather hilariously try and sell his game to walk-in customers at a game store…and completely fail.

Somehow, I think he’d probably have an easier time convincing PC gamers. Go play the demo, folks – and you’ll love this game as much as we do.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown is out for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 next week.
