It’s the big question that no one is really allowed to voice yet.
What if LittleBigPlanet is bad… The unthinkable is possible, but not likely, and TheSixthAxis has broached the subject and spoken about what could go wrong with LittleBigPlanet.
Mainly they are worried about the custom levels and everything that goes around that, however I think the first commenter wrapped it up perfectly.
User generated content = shite
99% of stuff on you tube = shite
99% of user stuff on myspace = shite
99% of all blogs = shite <—Oi
In reality the fact is that the vast majority of us are completely and utterly talentless at level design. The tools can be perfect but that doesn’t change the fact that I couldn’t create a real level if my life depended on it.
If I want to play a good level I expect it to be as easy as opening my menu and downloading the latest top rated level, if Media Molecule get that side right then I am going to be happy.

True , we want to play the games , not make them. Lets hope they have plenty levels to play on the full release.

I think he’s right about 99% of all the content being rubbish, but i’m only in it for the 1% that’s going to be good/interesting.
My content, my friends content, the levels created by the devs for the game. I don’t care about anyone elses levels unless there is an amazing level that has millions of votes for being brilliant i wont even bother with other levels.

Yeah the whole problem is you gonna need to play the level to see if its good… As in taking one for the team and going out and just playing all the shit levels until you get a good one.

They should have something similar to the Smash Bros website. Where the top levels are rated and the worst stuff gets thrown out or pushed to the bottom of the pile.

I’m just wondering what the size of the levels will be…
Please just don’t let it be like 100’s of Megs big.
