FIFA 12 is so unrealistic. Fernando Torres has already scored four times for me and I'm only in my third season.

We’re expecting plenty of big games to be teased this year at E3. After all, plenty of the big guns in the industry will be shopping their wares, so to speak, giving fans a glimpse at what is to come.

Here’s a look at what EA currently has in store, for those lucky enough to attend the event this year.

Battlefield 3: Close Quarters and Battlefield 3: Armored Kill

Love your Battlefields? Then get ready for two new DLC packs, which continues the fight later this year.

  • Platforms: Xbox 360®, PlayStation®3 and PC
  • Street Dates: Close Quarters in June 2012; Armored Kill in September 2012

Crysis 3

Welcome to the jungle, we got fun and grenades…

Crysis 3 represents a new direction for the franchise, as it goes open-world, continuing the tale of Prophet, as he seeks redemption, one dead Ceph or Human at a time.

  • Platforms: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC

FIFA 13

Apparently, Foosball is popular in the world. Which is why FIFA returns, once again this year, for a new annual instalment, in a game that promises more realism, dynamism and several other “isms”.

  • Platforms: PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation®Vita, Wii™, PC, PlayStation®2, Nintendo 3DS™, PSP (PlayStation®Portable) system, iPhone®, iPad®, iPod® touch and Android

Madden NFL 13

This is also Foosball apparently, but the American version. The entire game has had a dramatic overhaul this year, in order to represent something new and exciting.

  • Platforms: Xbox 360,PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Wii

Medal of Honor: Warfighter

Who has the best special forces in the world? Only one way to find out, when the latest Medal of Honour game releases later this year.

  • Platforms: Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC

NBA LIVE 13

It’s more sports, but with people that several times taller than any of us, So prepare to dribble, pass and shout BOOMSHAKALAKA!

  • Platforms: Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3

NCAA Football 13

More football from the USA! But this time, younger players, different features and with more authenticity.

  • Platforms: Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3

NHL 13

I’m told that this sport combines boxing and lethal weaponry. Which sounds quite awesome, and far more exciting than an MMA match. NHL 13 is poised to also deliver new innovations to the existing formula this year, resulting in a game that is faster and more fluid on the ice.

  • Platforms: Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3

SimCity 5

Move over assorted gods, there’s a new deity who is ready to guide or destroy small towns. The granddaddy of city-building returns, in a game that will not only see who can run the best metropolis, but if it can survive contact from your friends as well.

  • Platform: PC

Star Wars: The Old Republic

I have a good feeling about this. The faraway galaxy is preparing to up its game this year, with new refinements, features, battles and content, with which players can explore.

· Platform: PC

That’s the stuff they’ll have on the showfloor – and they’ll obviously show off one or two of them at their press conference. What are you expecting from that conference? personally, I’d liek to see a little more of Overstrike, the multi-platform game from Insomniac, and maybe – just maybe – a new Knights of the Old Republic.
