xbox deet doo doo deet

A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, there was a Star Wars contest being held, that included a very special edition of the Xbox 360 console. If you happen to be a fan of lightsaber battles and happen to also be in need of a new gaming platform that can run games in under 12 parsecs, then listen up, because we’ve got a contest right here for you.

Alongside the chaps at El33t Online, we’ve teamed up to give away a limited edition Xbox 360 Star Wars console, that includes a Kinect and Star Wars Kinect game as well. And in order for you to win, here’s what you have to do.

You’re going to have to flex your poetry muscles on this one, as we want a poem from you, to be submitted in the comments below. But we don’t just want any old poem, no. We want you to craft a sonnet or two in Yoda-talk.

You know, this guy:

Here’s an example of what you can submit:

A jedi young ‘walker became
to follow in his father’s name
just wait until later
when he’ll meet Darth Vader
we’ll see if he still feels the same

It can be either long or short form, and when the contest ends on April 5th. El33t will pick their best entrant, we’ll pick our best rhymer, and Xbox South Africa will judge to see who the best is. The runner up will receive a special Star Wars mug and keyring.

the force is strong in my coffee

So comment below, get all erudite and whatnot, and see if you channel the force into your composition. Good luck guys, and remember, you want this!

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
