One of the biggest questions flying around in the local gaming community since E3 earlier this year, has been related to when we are going to be able to get our grubby paws on the new 250 GB version of the Xbox 360.

In August, we already posted up that we had solid details of the release date of the 250GB SKU and that it would be around the time of the rAge expo. Hey, that’s in just over a week!

Well thanks to our Xbox-centric local gaming site XboxGaming.co.za, we have some additional info stating that the Halo Reach Limited Edition Bundle has now been shipped out to retailers nationwide as well as pricing on all three different SKU’s as well.

More through the jump.

While as I said before, the units are being shipped out, Take 2 already have stock and are selling the legendary console right now for R3899. The really great news: The 250GB and 4GB SKU’s are set to be released towards the end of September.

So how much are they going to set fire to your wallet when they arrive? Well, the 250GB is set to release at the RRP of R3200 and the 4GB model will ignite around R2400 of your upcoming paycheck.

Strangely, we haven’t received any official press release from Microsoft yet, but I doubt that you will see any changes to the information posted via our source below.

So… who’s buying one? I know that Halo Reach bundle looks damn tempting, did you know it makes cool Halo sounds, it does.
