Not too log ago, the oompa-loompa’s over at Xbox finally released the new Xbox 360 Update for all XBL members. In other words you should soon receive a prompt suggesting you to grab the mandatory update the next time you sign in.

Since the update may take a few hours to be rolled out to the entire world, don’t panic if you haven’t been able to see it just yet. You can check out the future of this update and all its specs over at Xbox.com

    Size?

I’m getting just under 10 mb from a leaked update. But some one is reporting 90mb?

I haven’t received any notification of the size but I doubt it can be released for under 10Mb… so the 90 sounds more realistic

90MB is the 2nd biggest update.
Wonder when it’ll be available from xbox.com

Ugh, this is a crap update, basically just more nice stuff for the yanks (netflix) and more crap to milk the wallets of the rest of us (avatar bs).

Took just a few minutes on 4mb, so I think it was smaller than 90Mb.

Well as you may have noted, the update has yet to include the facebook, twitter etc bits and pieces. But if you do watch movies etc via your Xbox networked to your PC or external drive then you may also note that you’ll have to do an additional DL that also only takes about 2 minutes. I guess its all pretty relative to someone’s pockets. 🙁
