If there was one thing missing from Microsoft’s Xbox One (or Xbone, if you like) event, it was popular, mainstream rappers. It was also missing something quite important for a games console…and that’s games. We know it’s getting Call of Duty, Forza and a new, exclusive, Remedy IP called Quantum Break. But what else can Xboners expect on their
console entertainment service set-top boxes?
Xbox One Exclusives
Forza Motorsport 5 – Microsoft Studios/Turn 10
Quantum Break – Microsoft Studios/Remedy Entertainment
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag – Ubisoft/Ubisoft Montreal
Battlefield 4 – Electronic Arts/DICE
Call of Duty: Ghosts – Activision/Infinity Ward
Destiny – Activision/Bungie
FIFA 14 – EA Sports/EA Canada
Madden NFL 25 – EA Sports/EA Tiburon
NBA Live – EA Sports/EA Tiburon
Thief – Square Enix/Eidos Montreal
UFC – EA Sports/EA Canada
Watch Dogs – Ubisoft/Ubisoft Montreal
Those are the ones that have been confirmed – but there are a number of titles that have been announced for “next gen platforms,” a banner which quite probably includes the Xbox One.
The Evil Within – Bethesda/Tango Gameworks
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – CD Project Red
Wolfenstein The New Order – Bethesda/Machine Games
We’ve also been told that there are a number of core-focused exclusives to watch out for – and that of the announced 15 new exclusive IP’s, at least 5 of them are targeted at gamers. We’ also know that Ms will be resurrecting one of RARE’s franchises – so Killer Instinct, Conker, Banjo Kazooie? Maybe even Battletoads?
Anything there fill you with excitement?
