Here at Lazygamer, we all report to a higher power. An authority that is small yet fat, cuddly and will shred your arms if you fall for the fluffy belly trap. I’m talking about cats of course. And if you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to cause massive chaos as a furious feline, then Catlateral Damage is the game for you.
Wielding the destructive powers of a bored and inquisitive cat, Catlateral Damage has you causing all kinds of chaos in a single room. All you need to do is knock everything onto the floor, as quickly as you can.
And it’s bloody addictive, it is. Designed by just one guy, Chris Chung, the game is currently up in alpha state on this website. Chung made it in just a week for the 7DFPS challenge, and he’s busy cranking out a full version for release later this year. The controls are simple enough, with the various mouse buttons alternating between fluffy paws and even using them as a battering ram.
Chung describes the game as “a cat parkour game where you just navigate an apartment as a cat.” And wreck the place up pretty damn bad actually. Just like a real cat. If you like what you see, then go give Chung some love and support on Steam Greenlight.
While my one cat is a bit too old for such shenanigans, my other little bastard regularly attacks my shelf and knocks down everything it can. Now if you’ll excuse me, I need to finish up work on my horror dare game, Cat Belly Scratch Fever.
