If you were ever looking for adventure, thrills and a story to remember, nothing beats a long trek across the nation with a best friend by your side and only a few bucks of cash in your pocket. Road trips are the last great frontier, an exploration across the country that has the potential to create a wild tale of craziness that’ll be told around a fire for years to come.

Here’s a great example for you then. Over on Twitter, Shane Morris posted a story of how one road trip began with a pair of motorcycles and ended with a camper van that had a brick of heroin hidden inside of it. The tale only gets madder from there, as Morris recounts the ballsiest showdown he ever had with a gangbanger, how he scammed that gangster out of cash and managed to get away from a deal that could very easily have ended with him bleeding to death inside of a dingy motel room.

It’s an adventure full of ups, downs and a climax that pushes the truth to the very limit. You know what? Even if the story itself isn’t as true as I’d like it to be, it’s still a hell of a tale. It’s exciting, it’s mad as a box of otters and it has a twist that would make M. Night Shyamalan proud. If you’ve got a few minutes, then sit down and read these tweets that’ll leave you astonished:

Everyone in the office was discussing this story this morning and we even joked that it would make for a brilliant movie. Guess what? LIFE COMES AT YOU FAST!

What a crazy day for Morris. If his tweets have taught me anything, it’s not only that life has some amazing curveballs that it can throw at you, but it’s that fortune really does favour the bold. Now to see if I can get Michael Bay to direct my tale about that time I got lost in America during E3 and wound up taking a police car back to my motel. Which apparently had a gang shootout in the parking lot that I slept through. Someone see if Gilbert Gottfried wants to play me and win an Oscar.

So now not only are there potentially a few gang members after him, but quite possibly the IRS, FBI, and DEA…. okkkkkk.
