It looks like Kingdoms of Amalur is making a comeback! Having purchased the rights to the game in 2018, THQ Nordic looks set to release a remastered version of the game. Or a Re-Reckoning version, according to a marketing department that is probably high-fiving themselves right now for coming up with that term.

THQ Nordic has been on a tear lately, not only grabbing licenses but actually doing something with the properties and reviving them for new generations of gamers. The next game on the THQ Nordic list? None other than 38 Studios’ Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.

Project Copernicus, an ambitious MMO game that would have cost millions of dollars to create. Also, it would have been a free game as well.

Kingdoms of Amalur developer 38 Studios and Big Huge Games are now effectively dead, as the underperfoming sales of the game have led to the studios being shuttered.

Of course it does. It's published by EA! But are online passes really that bad?
