I’ve returned from two weeks of leave, which means my brain is currently a coconut flavoured pudding, or a reasonable approximation thereof. For the most part, things have been just fine in my absence, but in my haste to switch everything off and go the hell on holiday, I forgot to remind Darryn to do the draw for the Xbox One The Division 2 Dark Zone competition.
The Division 2 is aiming to be the perfect sequel: Bigger, better and bolder. It’s as pretty as can be, its unique blend of cover-based RPG shooting has been polished to a mirror shine and Ubisoft has some big plans for life after launch with a comprehensive series of endgame activities. Want in on this but lack the funds to join the fight to take back America? Thanks to Megarom Interactive, we’ve got you covered fam.

This week sees the largest update yet for The Division, in the form of Resistance. Announced several months back, Resistance adds a horde mode that allows you and squadmates to protect a zone and reinforce it, as well as a skirmish mode and a 4v4 deathmatch option that should sate your bloodlust.
The Division servers will be going down soon so that fixes can be implemented. And new problems discovered. Probably.
Gear score! Tuesday events! Vendors who aren't so stingy! The Division is destined to shape up for the better on April 12 when the new patch lands.
