Lionhead's long awaited sequel to their Xbox Hit Fable, has finally been released and although the game is scoring very highly, there seems to be a lot of fans and gamers in general that are incredibly displeased with the online co-operative play. A huge ruckus has broken out on the Lionhead forums after one of the fans started the following thread: Jaycen2001 writes: Hey guys, thanks for the quick fix for the online multi co op. you know just taking a dump and selling it as a cool feature is kinda lame. the co op sucks hard in this game. you cant be your own character. and you cant freaken see anything because of the crappy (and I mean super crappy) camera. So, thanks for all the waiting for this cool game with this awesome feature. i hate to tell you but it blows......I dont accept your patch. take it back and give us what you promised. not some cheap knock off. Ouchies. This is how the thread starts and trust me it's all downhill from there. What makes matters worse is that one of the site mods posted a pic of handbags and asked if anyone needs one, which just made the fans even more furious. Most of the issues people are having are with regards to the fact that you can only use a henchman in other peoples games as well as issues with people not being able to take found items over to their game. We will have to wait and see how Lionhead respond.

Are you ready ladies and gentlemen? This Friday will be the start of what is arguably going to be the best summer of gaming that we have ever seen. You can start getting excited because Friday's line-up is looking so good already that it's crazy to think that so many more huge titles will still be coming out afterwards. Go check Metacritic and you will see that all three of those are receiving high eighties, with Far Cry 2 getting an 87/100 at the time of writing and both Fable 2 and Dead Space weighing in at 89/100. Midnight Club: Los Angeles has also raked in an 85/100 so far, putting it higher than I initially expected. We will also see the likes of Bioshock and Motorstorm: Pacific Rift coming our way, so all in all there is already an absolute ton of titles coming out to destroy our wallets and wear out our credit cards. Rodney Gray, a driver for a security firm that makes, packages and distributes game discs, was stopped by detectives for an apparent mountain of driving offenses after they saw him leaving his room with a red carpet bag. You can guess from the title what they found. Not only that but when they searched his room, they found even more. Destructoid reports that: "Rodney Gray was pulled over by detectives after they spotted him leaving his room with a red carpet bag. Gray ironically worked in security for Technicolor, a firm which packages, produces, stores and distributes game discs. When the reckless roadster was stopped, he was found with 31 of these discs in his bag. The cops went back to Gray's room, where they found more games and DVDs that had been liberated from Technicolor, including copies of Gears of War 2 and Fable 2. The would-be criminal kingpin quickly broke down and admitted that he'd been going nicking from work and was selling the discs on." Naughty, naughty Rodney, your little money making scheme on the side finally blew up in his face. Does anyone else think that the security division may need to hire some security?

It seems that according to chain supply issues, the Fable 2 Limited Edition has had to undergo a few changes. Lionhead announced yesterday night that the premium box, five printed fate cards and Hobbe figure will no longer be a part of the limited edition. The limited edition will now be cut down from $79.99 to $69.99, so even though there will be a few missing pieces, the price will reflect it as well. Interestingly enough, to make up for it, Lionhead are releasing quite a few free goodies to keep all of their fans happy. Find out more after the jump. They have since updated their post to announce that they will make the fate cards available as downloadable print ready PDF's saying: "By a suggestion made in the comments of this entry, we're going to release the Fate Cards as a downloadable PDF for you to print, plus we can also confirm the new LCE version will have the original LCE artwork)." To soften the blow even more, Lionhead announced that for a limited time, they will have a Fable album available on their site that will contain a selection of music from the original Fable as well as 3 new tracks from the upcoming Fable II.
