By Nick De Bruyne

Most of you will know that one of Fable II’s most interesting features was the ability to play co-op with a friend. You will also then know that the co-op landed up being a massive disappointment. The fact that you couldn’t bring your own character into a friends game together with the the terrible camera that should have only been …

Fable 2 and Halo's 'Master Chief Armor' clip MrXBob has taken the time to show off the Halo Spartan armor unlocked in Fable 2 with the Collectors Edition. Good to see that the armor fits the style and time of the game itself but on the other hand you have to wonder if it really looks the part? Last Updated: …

You know you are on to something when the developer of the game gives you a call after you review their title to let you know that you are wrong and that you will hopefully like their next instalment. Well this is what happened to Yahtzee after he reviewed Fable 1 and I have to say that I don’t think …

Just yesterday, I wrote an article about how Fable 2 broke the one million copies sold mark in it’s first week on the shelves. As you all know, Fable 2 has a huge fanbase and is proving to be immensely successful. The smile on Lionhead’s faces can only go so far then they find out this next bit of news. …

Fable 2 sells 1 Million Copies in it's first week

By Nick De Bruyne

If my name was Peter Molyneux, I would be feeling pretty relaxed right now. Well, wouldn't you? There is an unspoken rule about videogaming that if your game sells a million copies, it can truly be considered successful. Fable 2 has proven itself more than worthy by crossing the one million mark in the first week of it's release. While some people get grumpy when I refer to VGchartz.com, their report for worldwide sales of the week ending on October 24th shows Fable 2 as the number seller with a total of 1,000,901 sales. I thought that Fable 2 was going to be very popular but I really didn't expect it to take off so incredibly well. Out of my personal experience I realised that I thought that most of the buyers were going to be the fans of Fable 2, completely forgetting that a lot of newer and more "casual" gamers might be interested by its approachability, which seems to also be the case. It's a pretty incredible start to Fable 2's sales, who knows how many will have sold by the end of the Christmas season.

I was totally amped when I found out that I had to review Fable 2. I loved the first game and could seriously not wait to get my grubby little paws on the new game. I had to literally force myself to stop playing the game and start writing the review… yes, it’s that good. This is one of those …

So yesterday we spoke about how well the LittleBigPlanet reviews are doing and it was only on Monday that we mentioned that Gears 2 was also receiving high praise from all over the Internet. Well today (actually yesterday) is Resistance 2’s turn with the first full review being published by IGN and with the reviewer summing it up nicely with …
