Yeah guys and girls, gaming icon and mastermind behind the MGS franchise, Hideo Kojima has stepped in to tell the team that he already has three ideas for MGS5. But because of the fact that he’s sitting out on the 5th title of the series, he hasn’t told them what his ideas were. This was pretty evident as he said …

E3 2009: Metal Gear Solid coming to the Xbox 360

By Gavin Mannion

I guess this is the end of my long running rumour mongering about Metal Gear Solid coming to the Xbox 360, feels a bit like an anti-climax really because it’s not a real Metal Gear Solid or it’s not the 5th in the series that we were expecting. Unfortunately we apparently have no Solid Snake in the game but we …

It is really fantastic to see that even some of the more well known and larger game development studios will even take some time to celebrate April fools day. This trailer was released onto the internet yesterday, and focuses on Colonel Campbell, in a strange mask thing absolutely pwning a couple of those mini metal gear thingies (Sorry, it’s been …

One of the greatest things about buying an iPhone recently, was the moment when I remembered that there was apparently a new Metal Gear Solid headed for it some time soon. I was browsing the net the other day and happened to notice that an exclusive debut trailer for Metal Gear Solid Touch was up on Gametrailers, so I clicked …

LBP and MGS4 at ridiculously low prices. Xbox 360 Games Too.

By Nick De Bruyne

And I really do mean ridiculously low. I had to pop into my local mall to get a few things done yesterday and while I was there I bumped into none other than Werner aka MiNeM, (you know, the dude that runs xbox-360.co.za) and he told me that he noticed that Incredible Connection was selling some Xbox 360 games at …

The Xbox 360 could run MGS4 just fine

By Nick De Bruyne

Now this just goes to show you just can’t keep a good rumour down.. It is quite obvious that is Microsoft pretty keen on getting a huge title like Metal Gear Solid 4 onto the Xbox 360. MCV UK reports that Xbox Live boss John Schappert has said that he would "love to see the game come to 360" and the went on about the machines "horsepower". This comes after Yoshitaka Arai apparently told a Japanese paper that "The worldwide demand for an Xbox 360 version of MGS4 is quite high, and it is something we are currently looking in to.” I think that if Konami doesn't do it then they are fools. More after the jump. Why wouldn't Konami release it for Xbox 360, especially if Microsoft is actually right and the machine can handle the demands of the games engine. The way I see it, the exclusivity has done it's job. Many PS3's were sold and everyone at Sony is happy. So why not release the game to an entire market of gamers who want nothing more than to play the game. It makes perfect business sense and will almost literally double the sales of the game, if not more when they open it up to a new market. Exclusives are starting to get on my nerves. Look at Bioshock, it is now being released on PS3 a year after the Xbox 360 version and those developers and publishers can look forward to a huge amount of sales for a lot less effort than it would require to completely build another game.
