Anthem is overhauling the grind for finding the perfect masterwork weapon

By Darryn Bonthuys

Unlike Destiny however, Masterwork weapons have barely any personality beyond their more inflated damage-dealing numbers, don’t feel worth the effort to obtain and are oftentimes badly designed collections of fancy effects. So they’re kind of a reflection of Anthem in its current state.

Jump Force is a stunning explosion of iconic manga characters across decades of publication, all wrapped up in a single package of over the top brawling that is decadent on the outside and ultimately hollow inside when cracked open.

The spice must flow! For years, that was the mantra of some of the finest real-time strategy games ever made, that happened to be set in the sci-fi fantasy universe of Frank Herbert's Dune series of novels. While Westwood only hopped into the spice wars of Arrakis in 1993 with Dune II, they quickly created a template for tactics that would evolve to glorious new heights in 1998’s Dune 2000 and then reach its pinnacle in Emperor: Battle for Dune. Since then, the series has been largely dormant , resting beneath the sands and waiting for a day when it might be revived once again. That time, is now.

Dead Cells still has plenty of life in it, as a recent documentary from Red Bull revealed more on the Rise of the Giant DLC that select PC players are helping fine-tune right now in beta form.

Time has not been kind to Fallout 76 in the hundred days since it launched. Still, there are some people out there who can overlook the many many faults of Bethesda’s live service apocalypse tour, and more power to them if they find some joy in that wasteland. A wasteland that’s about to receive an infusion of content.

The Xbox One has not quite been as successful as Microsoft had hoped. Curious decisions aw the Xbox eating PlayStation dust for the bulk of the generation, but it’s something that Microsoft has actively been making amends for. There’s some exceptional forward thinking in effect at Microsoft, as the company hopes to start the next generation on a better footing.
