Kingdom Come: Deliverance developer compromises on divisive save system
Kingdom Come: Deliverance is a game that prides itself on (possibly revisionist) historical accuracy. So, in the name of historical accuracy, the game only lets players save the game when they rest at a bed, complete quest objectives or drink an initially hard-to-acquire item called Saviour schnapps. Many players have found this tiresome in an otherwise good RPG, as it means it’s easy to lose hours of progress in the Bohemian landscape.
