Little Big Penis. Sigh.

By Nick De Bruyne

Humans are slowly starting to prove that time and again, no matter what creation tools are given to us, we will, without a doubt, create something penis shaped with them. Last week saw the first beta keys for LBP make their way out into the world, which means that some of those filthy humans have been hard at work to create something naughty to giggle about. Obviously, this video features a penis shaped structure and really, I am starting to get quite tired of these lame gamers making stupid creations such as these. Spore was absolutely inundated with penis shaped creations as well, proving once again that the human race in general has some moronic level of immaturity amongst the lot of us. With all of these creative tools coming out, especially when they are looking as fun and interesting as LBP, you would think that we would see amazing creations and the artistic expressions of gamers minds. Unfortunately, it seems that the only thing on a lot of gamers minds at the moment are naughty people parts. Grow up people.

New Mirror's Edge Story Trailer

By Gavin Mannion

It’s strange, this year there isn’t a must have title that I can put my finger on… granted we have a pile of titles which are all looking absolutely fantastic but right now the only one that is standing tall above all others (for me) is Gears of War 2. However Mirror’s Edge is right up there with the rest …

Little Big Planet Beta ‘Xbox 360’ HD LittleBigPlanet is not the first game that allows us to create home made movies but it is possibly the most versatile. PSN user RedBullRacer has put together this pretty awesome video trashing the Xbox 360 inside LittleBigPlanet, now I guess it’s time for someone on the 360 side to try and retalliate… maybe …

Wii Music Trailer: This Makes Me Sad

By Nick De Bruyne
September 26, 2008

What you are about to witness, is an advert for Wii Music. Wii Music doesn't completely make sense to me. You can pretty much do what you want and still be apart of the songs. Which makes me wonder, why not just flip your television to MTV and wave your coffee mugs around instead? It's cheaper for starters, well, as long as you don't toss any of them into a wall. The sad fact is that this "game" is going to sell like hotcakes, even though I think that most people are going to only toy around with it a few times and then never touch it again. What also interests me and only serves to prove my point a little more, is that I could take the above video and replace the piano music with the sounds of bongo drums and most people wouldn't even realise. I know that Nintendo wants to make games that are interactive and easy to learn, but this barely makes you apart of the actual experience at all.

I was trawling through the Gametrailers site to try and find a nice conversion of that Halo 3 teaser trailer… instead however I found a new LBP trailer. This trailer doesn’t show us anything new but it’s cute and I love the humour so I just had to share… Last Updated: September 25, 2008

I am a fan of the Gametrailers video reviews and do hope that one day we will be able to put something together just like them, but until I win the lottery this is not likely to happen…  But anyway where was I going with this… Oh yeah, Gametrailers has put up a review of Rockband 2 and since we …

EndWar – Voice Command Brief

By Nick De Bruyne
September 19, 2008
in :  Gaming

Tom Clancy's EndWar is the first game that is offering the ability to control your armies with the use of voice command. While I have been let down in the past with voice command features, EndWar looks like it's actually going to pull it off. This video gives us a good idea of how the voice command system works and how the interface functions. The idea of controlling armies that have Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six squads in them is already enough to get me to sit up and pay attention but add a flawless voice command system and we may have the future of console RTS gaming staring us right in the face. "Alpha Unit, make me coffee!"
