If you were looking for an upgrade last year and you opted to skip out on Huawei’s offerings last year when they launched the P20 Pro, you missed out on a hell of a phone. Realising that communication is now told through visual aids, social media and video, Huawei pulled out all the stops to make a camera that just so happened to also double as a smartphone.

The end result? A fantastic piece of photographic technology that happened to be capable of capturing some truly amazing images thanks to a trio of lenses that the rest of the industry is currently copying. No long a chaser of fads (well, minus that notch of course) but a trendsetter in their own right, Huawei is back this year with the P30 range of phones.

Instead of an iterative upgrade, this year’s model looks like another benchmark in excellence. So how much will it cost to get your hands on one of these phones? the P30 Pro will sell for R18,999 according to Huawei’s own online store. The P30 will retail for R13,999 while the P30 lite will sell for R5,999.
