1 vs 100 – Is this going to be really good?

2 min read

I have been oddly intrigued by the title 1 vs 100 since it was first announced back at E3 last year.

Basically it’s a live gameshow that we will hopefully be playing from the comfort of our living room against 100 other real avatars scattered around the world.

Unfortunately we all know it isn’t going to be coming to South Africa since we still don’t have official Live status but I still find the idea interesting.

All other electronic gameshow conversions have been abject failures but this one offers something entirely unique, real prizes and real people.

If you are chosen to be the one then you are going to be inline to win cars, HDTV’s, holidays or money while the 100 members of the mob stand in line to win Arcade titles, Microsoft points and other smaller prizes.

Eurogamer have posted up a 2 page preview about the game but to be honest we still haven’t heard much about the game itself and whether it will be as groundbreaking as it sounds.
