Thanks to me being the official Lazygamer Rugby representative (I have a lot of knowledge when it comes the ‘beautiful game’) I have been given then honour of letting all of our South African Rugby fans that Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge is available, right now, in stores.

That’s right, if you run out and grab it now, you can be scoring touchdowns and hitting homeruns before you know it! Megarom, our local distributor released a press release on the reason for the earlier release.

Apparently, people really wanted it, really fast. Check it out after the jump.

Here’s what the press release had to say:

Megarom Interactive (Pty) Ltd., South Africa’s leading importer and distributor of interactive video games, today announced that the release date for South Africa has been moved up to September 7, meaning that South African gamers will be able to get their hands on Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge for both consoles a day sooner. The original release date for Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge was September 8.

This decision comes with immense pressure and enthusiasm from fans and retailers alike, looking to get the game as soon as possible. Australia and New Zealand have already released Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge, within the first week the game has received unprecedented sales and is now selling out in these territories.

With the Rugby World Cup around the corner Rugby fans everywhere are getting ready setup their own match-ups with Jonah Lomu Rugby Challenge.

There you go folks! Now get your skates on and show them what for!
