Petition to bring GTA V to PC By GavinMannionPosted on November 27, 20121 min read0 Share on Facebook Share on Twitter Share on Google+ Share on Reddit Share on Pinterest Share on Linkedin Share on Tumblr And while the world continues to turn with monotonous regularity we have yet another online petition to try and convince a games publisher to do something different to what has been announced. As you can tell I’m not a fan of online petitions in general as they are quite possibly the most useless things since.. queue the Skype chatErwin Kempff’s competition entriesDarryn’s reproductive organsGarth’s razor bladesYolanda’s shoes… bare foot in the kitchen.. you know.. okay I’m sorry that was badGeoff’s showerthe ANC’s anti corruption unitthe TSAwebsites using AWStats to prove readership Social Media Expertscc’ing brands on twitter#followfridaybut that hasn’t stopped people from creating them.I’m posting about this one as the wording is different from usual. Instead of idiotic threats or downright anger the original poster has put together a logical and compassionate plea for help from Rockstar. It goes like thisTo: Rockstar GamesPlease release GTA V on PC. GTA games have been a large part of so many peoples lives and it’s a big shame not seeing the newest iteration of the game being released on the most powerful platform. Things like modifications have always been a HUGE part of PC gaming and modded GTA is some of the most insanely fun times you can have. I hope you consider the release of GTA V on PC as it’ll make many people very happy!Sincerely, [Your name]To date the petition has racked up 43 609 signatures, or about 0.01% of the people who are actually going to buy the game.Rockstar are obviously not going to be swayed by the number of signatures but maybe the wording will hit home somewhere?… that was fun, what other completely useless things can you think of?
