For around 2 years now, a G4 film titled FOCUS: A Documentary has been in production, with director Steve Hwang has following and filming Mike “The People’s Champion” Ross – known for his charisma, aggressive play-style and clutch comebacks that even sparked the term “I believe” thanks to his ability to turn matches around when all hope is lost.

This documentary is the story of his road to the EVO 2010, where over 2000 players from all over the world gather to fight for the money and the glory of being the world’s best. EVO 2011 takes place this very weekend.

We have the trailer after the jump, and the link to the page where you can watch it (while it’s available for viewing).

You can check out the awesome trailer that has been teasing us for so long now:

The full documentary runs 74 minutes, so it’s not one to watch during a quick cup of coffee, but bookmark the page and share it on Facebook, Twitter and Google+ and help it get spread out.

The Street Fighter community, tournaments and live streams are making leaps and bounds for the gaming community, and if we all help spread the word, we may start getting even more and more coverage in the future for all different types of games over different platforms and media.

Mike Ross can now be constantly seen working together with fellow professional Street Fighter player Ryan “Gootecks” Gutierrez on their online show Cross Counter (www.crosscounter.tv) where they also host hilarious side shows such as the Gootecks & Mike Ross’s Excellent Adventures where they troll online players in Street Fighter IV as well as Marvelous Adventures for Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Inkredible Adventures for Mortal Kombat.
