Forza Motorsport 4 launches in our region tomorrow and I have been playing the heck out of it to bring you a full review, so be sure to check that out tomorrow. Those of you excited about the release may also be wondering if we, like other regions, will be getting the new Microsoft Wireless Speed Wheel to play our new game with.
The short answer is no, we won’t. So when will it be available to us then?
I made contact with BT Games earlier this week to ask when they were scheduled to release the speed wheel and was told that they were told to safely say November. I then contacted Microsoft locally via Twitter for an update to see if I could get some specifics and asked them if they could let us know when the wheel would be seeing a local release.
They answered me with a simple tweet saying nothing more than “Locally mid-November 🙂”.
So unfortunately we don’t have an exact date for you just yet, but at least you have a rough idea of when it will be arriving. The wheel is already priced locally on sites like Takealot.com for R479 (also with the expected release date still sitting on mid-November).
For that price and for people like me who don’t have space for a full wheel setup anymore, it surely is tempting.
