Midweek Mouth-off: Noah you're talking!

midweek mouth off
This Friday Noah opens in South Africa with a blockbuster 3D (and 3D IMAX) treatment… and surprisingly little fanfare and/or controversy despite it being a Hollywood reinterpretation of a Bible story – giving it an unusual “timeless” spin. More importantly for cinephiles, Noah is the latest from writer-director Darren Aronofsky, who never fails to wow with his striking, frequently surreal visuals. So, today we want to know how you feel about this CGI-heavy Russell Crowe starrer. Excited? Couldn’t care less?

Crowe and Aronofsky are more than enough to get me excited even if the subject matter is a bit meh.

Do they pronounce his name properly at least (Noagh, not No-a)? Does Crowe (in character) sing “Making movies, singing songs, flooding ’round the world”?

If both answers are “yes” then I’m keen.

Titanic 2000BC. Not interested enough to go watch it at the cinema, maybe on Netflix later down the line.
