While the latest season of Arrow is still better than the terrible season 3 (probably through the inclusion of Neal McDonough who makes everything better), there’s no denying that it’s being hampered quite a bit by all the setup it’s being forced to do for the upcoming Legends of Tomorrow, which is spinning out of Arrow and its sister-series The Flash.

But if the end result is a new comic book show that looks as absolutely incredible as this new trailer for Legends of Tomorrow makes it out to be, then by all freaking means: Hamper away! Not only is this new trailer action-packed, but it also introduces us to Casper Crump’s immortal villain Vandal Savage and even finds the time to throw in a couple of Superman and Batman Easter eggs for good measure.

Check it all out below.

When heroes alone are not enough… the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat – one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?

Legends of Tomorrow stars Victor Garber, Brandon Routh, Arthur Darvil, Caity Lotz, Ciarra Renee, Franz Drameh, Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller. The show officially premieres on January 21, 2016, but it is expected that next week’s The Flash and Arrow crossover episodes – respectively titled “Legends of Today” and “Legends of Tomorrow” – will introduce the team.
